the teen vogue hand book

i've always been a fan of teen vogue magazine. i'm not sure when i first started reading it but its always been one of the many magazines that i buy no matter what the contents are. i think one of the first issues i bought was the one with nicole richie on the cover. teen vogue was definitely one of the reasons why i started taking a particular interest to fashion and the industry in general.

just bought this today from indigo. i really should be buying xmas gifts for my fam and friends right now but i had a $10 gift card that i've had since the summer time and this was so worth buying.

i absolutely love this book. so many pictures and fun reading. i haven't really got the chance to look at it seriously because i've got a stupid exam tomorrow morning at 8am, but i'm going home this weekend so i'll have much more time to read it then.

it's an insider's guide to careers in fashion, which i think is perfect for me at the moment because i cannot figure out if i want to get into fashion journalism in the future or not. i know that i want to get into journalism but i just don't know which type i wish i study.

the contents of this book is sorted by designers, editors, stylists, models, beauty and photography. i will probably write more about this book once i've gotten the chance to read further. STAY TUNED ;)

i think i'm going to try to sell some clothes online. after moving from home for university, i really went out of control and bought a lot of clothing and shoes that i don't exactly where these days. they're nice clothes and i love them but i haven't worn certain pieces in a while. i only wear a handful of clothes anyways, which narrows down my clothing collection a lot.

today i'm going to look through my closet and just separate everything. all the things i want to keep and everything i want to sell. i will be selling more clothes than shoes i think. i think i only have like one or two pairs of shoes that i want to sell. hopefully this all works out and isn't too complicated. i'm going to try and find out how to sell the clothes through this blog. i know it's possible!

i saw two girls in aritzia wearing these boots the other day so i decided to look them up and see what all of the fuss was about. apparently they're incredibly in at the moment. celebs like ashley olsen and kate moss have been seen wearing these rain boots. i don't think i'll ever end up buying these because they're $180 US but they are cute. i'll probably just end up buying some regular rain boots that look like them. its worked for me in the past ;)

hair.

so i've decided that i definitely wanna go blonde very soon. probably after xmas, and i'll have to check with the job to see if it's appropriate. i'm going to go in for a consultation soon to check if my hair is healthy enough to bleach and to check if my hair will fall out or not once i get it done!

i want to wear these pants but i don't think they would look very good on me. i'm quite short and my legs are very short and stubby which i think is bad if i were to try to wear these. they're just so nice though. they make girls like classy without really trying i think. if i were to wear these and a regular shirt or v-neck my outfit would instantly becoming stylish all because of these amazing pants. i've bought a pair from urban behaviour but i haven't worn them out in public yet.

maybe i will one day soon.

2010 hairstyle

i want this look. i've always preferred either extremely short hair or very long hair but i think this is the one short look that i could handle.

i also want to dye my hair platinum blonde soon. it will probably kill my hair but beauty is pain right?
