no matter how many fashion magazines tell me to buy them, i will never spend good money on a long, lean maxi skirt. even if they're the hottest trend and absolutely everyone is wearing them, i will never buy one. my body is short enough. i don't need an entire skirt covering it up. i don't know how the olsen twins wear them. they're shorter than i am! i think i once had a maxi skirt and i hated the length of it so much that i decided to wear it as a strapless summer dress. it sort of worked out... i think i have a picture of myself wearing it somewhere...
but seriously. i was reading whowhatwear.com recently and went back into their january 2010 archives. they were listing styling trends for january 2010. long skirts were #5 on a list of 6! i don't know what to sayyyyyy.
i'll leave maxi skirts to tavi and the olsen twins. you'll never see me in one, i promise you that.
